Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
Test Creations (testcreations.com) is a private studio tool that makes short animated videos and posts them to social media accounts its owner controls. Only invited users can sign in. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used and stored, and how to remove it.
Who runs it
Test Creations is run by an individual, not a company. Questions about this policy or your data: andrewbertran@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Studio accounts. The email address and password (held by Amazon Cognito) of each invited user, so they can sign in.
- Connected social accounts. When the owner connects a YouTube channel or an Instagram account, the app receives an access token and, for Google, a refresh token. It also stores the account's ID, name and handle.
- Post data. For videos the app publishes: the video's ID, link and publishing status, and its public statistics (views, likes, comments, saves, shares, reach and average view duration).
- Comments. For Instagram posts the app published: the text of public comments, the commenter's username, and any reply the owner approves.
The app does not use cookies for advertising or tracking. It keeps your sign-in session in your browser only.
Google and YouTube data
When you connect a YouTube channel, Test Creations asks for these Google permissions:
- youtube.upload, to upload the studio's own finished videos to your channel as Shorts, at the times you schedule.
- youtube.readonly, to read your channel's name and ID, confirm an upload went through, and avoid uploading the same video twice.
- yt-analytics.readonly, to read view counts and average view duration for the videos the app uploaded, shown to you on the Publish tab.
Google user data is used only to provide these features to you. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not shared with anyone else, and not used to train AI models. People do not read it, except with your permission, for security, or where the law requires it. Test Creations' use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Test Creations uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Instagram and Meta data
When you connect an Instagram professional account, the app uses Meta's Instagram API to publish the studio's reels and stories, read their insights, and read and reply to comments on them. This data is used only for those features and is handled under Meta's Privacy Policy.
How data is stored and protected
- Everything is stored in Amazon Web Services in the United States.
- Access and refresh tokens are kept in AWS Secrets Manager, which encrypts them. They are never shown in the app or written to logs.
- Post data and comments are kept in an encrypted database and a private storage bucket that only the app can read.
- All traffic uses HTTPS.
Who we share it with
No one, except the services the app needs in order to work: Amazon Web Services (hosting), Google and YouTube, and Meta and Instagram, which receive only the posts and requests you make through them.
How long we keep it
- Tokens: until you disconnect the account or revoke access. They are then deleted.
- Post statistics and comments: while the post is managed by the studio. They are deleted on request.
- Studio accounts: until the owner removes the user.
How to remove access or delete your data
- In the app: Publish, then the channel, then Disconnect deletes that account's tokens.
- Google: remove "Test Creations" at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The app then loses access at once.
- Instagram: Settings, then Apps and websites, then remove Test Creations.
- Everything else: email andrewbertran@gmail.com. Your data is deleted within 30 days.
Children
Test Creations is not meant for anyone under 13, and it does not knowingly collect their data.
